PSA: Selena Gomez’s Rare Beauty line is dropping tinted lip oils

Just when we thought Rare Beauty couldn't get any better

Let's be real, we're not exactly short on celebrity beauty brands these days. But Rare Beauty is actually one of the rare ones because beauty lovers completely swear by it.

What's more, its founder, the pop icon and Disney star Selena Gomez, has listened to her fans who have been calling for a new lip addition for ages. Yep, you asked and Sel listened, which is why she debuted her Soft Pinch Tinted Lip Oils on Instagram yesterday.

So, what gives? Well, for starters the tinted lip oils have a unique formulation. The vegan, cruelty-free and paraben-free oils claim to have the consistency of a soft lip jelly that proceeds to melt into a shiny and moisturising layer of lip oil. Made with natural ingredients like jojoba seed oil and antioxidant-rich sunflower oil, they offer a layer of hydration as well as protection against environmental stressors.

Launching in 8 different colour tones, there is a shade to suit all, from rosy pink hues for a glamorous finish to cool-toned brown shades that are perfect for recreating a naughties lip.

'One swipe and your lips look so full and smooth! I love how easily you can build up the color without it getting sticky,' Gomez explains on the Rare Beauty website.

As for their look, the new Soft Pinch Tinted Lip Oils feature the same packaging as some of their past products like foundation, concealer, blush and highlighter. These glass bottles consist of rounded toppers that are designed to be disability-friendly.

In 2018, Gomez was diagnosed with lupus which is known to affect muscles and often induces joint pain. She has bravely spoken about her struggles with the disease and as we can see her products are not only shade-inclusive but also packaging-inclusive as well.

And last but not least, as with all of Rare Beauty's products, 1% of all sales will be donated to the Rare Impact Fund which aims to increase access to mental health services in educational backgrounds. Gomez has always been vocal about her personal mental health struggles and has imparted her personal values into her beauty brand to make related services more affordable.

While Rare Beauty is known worldwide for their Soft Pinch Liquid Blush, we reckon it won't be long until their Soft Pinch Tinted Lip Oil takes the spotlight.

As for a launch date, the products will be available at Sephora, Kohls, SpaceNK and rarebeauty.com on March 30 at 12 AM PST. But for anyone that is eager to come and get it, they are also due to launch a day earlier on the Sephora app on March 29 at 12 AM PST. Get those alarms set!
